At 261 metres it is Macau's tallest structure, and from almost every angle in the city it is visible, reasserting itself as the visual anchor of a skyline that barely existed two decades ago. Designed by Hong Kong architects Dennis Lau and Ng Chun Man and opened in stages between 2007 and 2008, the Grand Lisboa is the casino as monument — a building that makes no apologies for what it is.]]></description>
